Ten teams were invited to compete from across the state. These teams either won a regional qualifying competition or placed in the top three teams out of 67 at the Texas High School BBQ Championship held in Burnet this past May. This event was held in conjunction with The Adult World Food Championship that hosted adult cooks from around the world competing in different culinary categories.
When the smoke cleared the Burnet FFA BBQ team placed Grand Champion overall.
Quest For Que finished Reserve Champion overall, and Burnet High School Iron Dawgs finished 5th place overall. Congratulations to the following students.
