The team started their morning around 4:30 a.m. by deicing and starting the 30+ route buses so they would be warm and ready for the drivers and student riders. The drivers began arriving a little earlier than normal thinking they would need to go and take care of these cold morning duties. Needless to say, there were a host of happy bus drivers who were pleasantly surprised to find their buses ready to roll.
What is even more special, is that the riders were able to jump out of the cold an onto a warm bus with warm seats. The students thanked the drivers for making sure they had a cozy ride to school that morning.
The "A" team continued with this kind gesture Wednesday and Thursday mornings. As you can see, the BCISD Transportation Department is a family that takes care of each other, no matter how cold it is outside!
