Statement from Superintendent Keith McBurnett on the Passage of All Four Burnet CISD Bond Propositions Based on Unofficial Results
On behalf of the students, staff, Board of Trustees, and administration, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our community for the support of the Burnet CISD Bond Program, and the passage of Propositions A, B, C, and D. Additionally, I would like to thank the Facilities Community Advisory Committee members for their input in developing the bond program, and to those supporters that put out signs, handed out push cards, and helped to inform the community about the bond.
This bond program was developed in a collaborative and transparent manner. The management of the bond projects will be just as transparent. Community members will soon be able to follow the progress of bond projects at www.burnetcisd.net. Tonight’s results represent the end of the election, but only the beginning of a lot of work ahead. So let me take this opportunity to ask you ahead of time to pardon our mess as we begin to make needed renovations across the District. Thank you again for your support.
