Two of Bertram Elementary's Finest!

Superintendent Keith McBurnett introduced Jennifer Graves, Bertram Elementary's Educator of the Year sharing:

Our honoree is someone who embodies spirit, pride, and honor through her attitude, beliefs, and actions. Her positive attitude is noticed by others. Teachers say, “She wants all students to succeed, and is always giving words of encouragement to her students.” The Bertram Elementary Educator of the Year does not limit her positive and inspiring attitude to just students, she frequently shares uplifting and encouraging messages with those she works with. When challenges arise, she adopts a mindset to problem solve in the best interest of students.

Chamber Director Katy Duke introduced Aline Heine who was the inaugural recipient of the Bertram Elementary Heartbeat Award sharing:

Ms. Aline is the Chief Officer of First Impressions and the baling wire that keeps Bertram Elementary humming along. She is kind, loving, funny, warm, and… as everyone knows, gets things done!   Ms. Aline can answer the phone, emails, dole out visitor passes, deal with coverage crises, forgotten lunches, missing homework, and more - All with a warm, Texas “Thank You” or “Yes Ma’am!.”

Congratulations to Jennifer Graves and Aline Heine, two shining stars at Bertram Elementary!
