Mr. Yeomans provided an excellent extension to the study of weather and the impact of weather on the environment and living organisms. Making connections between what students have studied in class and real-world weather events allows for deeper learning and greater retention of the content.
Mr. Yeomans also shared about meteorology as a career field. Students were engaged and excited by the visit.
