EVERY graduating senior from Burnet CISD is eligible for a Hill Country Community Foundation Scholarship ranging in value from $1,679 up to $5,308, and the ONLY requirements are for the students to enroll in any continuing education program and to attend the scholarship ceremony.
In addition to the Hill Country Community Foundation Scholarships for graduating high school seniors, the Foundation also provides continuing scholarships to former HCCF scholarship recipients. This scholarship is called the Community Development Scholarship and provides financial support to students in their sophomore, junior, and senior year of their bachelor’s degree. The three recipients this year are Kelsey Keele, KayLisa Noble, and Emily Denton.
To date, the Foundation has awarded 3,793 scholarships totaling more than $5.8M. The Foundation’s net worth is over $13 million, and the ability of the Foundation to give out so many scholarships is because of the generosity of this community. The Foundation believes strongly in its vision statement of: Your Generosity. Our Community. Their Future.
