Each grade level made ornaments based on a book that they read in their classrooms. The trees were judged and 3rd grade will receive special cookies on their class party day later this month for being the overall winner for the "Best Use of Sentiment, Craft Combo and Heart Felt Theme". To add to the holiday fun and community connection, the 2nd-grade students will be making a special appearance at the Bertram Chamber of Commerce meeting this month to sing a few Christmas carols.
