Students of the Month

BHS Students of the Month: Elijah Tait and Karlie Buckley

Elijah Tait is an overall exemplary student. He always goes above and beyond in all of his classes. He has a thirst for knowledge that teachers often wish for in their students. He is extremely respectful and personifies Spirit Pride and Honor in all of his actions. Elijah has a variety of interests and extracurricular activities. He is on the UiL writing team and is in the Bulldog Bistro. He has an interest in botany and floral design. In his spare time he enjoys writing. Elijah is planning on attending the University of Texas in the fall where he plans on majoring in computer science. Anyone who is familiar with Elijah knows that he will not only succeed but excel in anything he puts his mind and interest in.

Karlie Buckley is driven to be successful in her studies and outside of school. She is at school every day ready to work and is always quick to help her peers if they need assistance. She has compassion for her peers and promotes a positive environment. She continuously sets an example of Spirit, Pride and Honor to her peers. In each unit this semester, she relates the content to real-world examples, going above and beyond. She is looking forward to attending Tarleton State after high school.
