Burnet Middle School receives National Recognition, Again!!!

During Say Something week in October, over 750 students were trained in practical exercises to learn the signs that someone they know may be planning to harm themselves or others.

Because of the outstanding student leadership and plans for the future, Sandy Hook Promise awarded BMS the "Say Something Week Community Reach and Sustainability Winner." This award recognizes the support of the Burnet CISD Community as well as the BMS efforts to sustain their Say Something plan.

Burnet CISD is the only small school in the United States that will be a pilot school for the "Say Something App" which is an anonymous reporting app for students of BCISD. This app will provide an anonymous way for students and others to report concerns that they have for their fellow students.
