The idea is simple! Students and parents plant a flower bulb and make a pledge to be drug free. This spring and every spring, the flowers will bloom as a reminder of the pledge that was made to be drug free. Additionally, it provides a chance to enjoy the outdoors, connect with nature and support a drug free lifestyle.
The event is planned for Thursday, November 1st from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. (weather permitting). Please feel free to bring your own garden gloves and shovel, but extras will be provided. For more information, contact Bertram Elementary at 512-355-2111.
