The Burnet CISD May 2, 2020 Board of Trustee Election and Bond Election will now both be held on November 3, 2020. The Burnet CISD Board of Trustees unanimously authorized the postponement during their regularly scheduled school board meeting on Monday, March 30.

We are pleased to announce that our Student Work Return Stations are assembled and ready at 10 sites across the District: Bertram Elementary, RJ Richey Elementary, Shady Grove Elementary, Burnet Middle School, Burnet High School, Briggs Community Center, Lakeshore Library, Lake Victor Community Center, Hoover Valley Fire Department, and Cassie Community Center.

On April 16, the District announced the BCISD Adopter of the Year. The mission of the Adopt-A-School program is to create school and community partnerships that positively impact student achievement. Click the story to see the recipient.

On April 16, the District thanked all of the dedicated volunteers that participate in the District's Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) program, and announced the BCISD Volunteers of the Year. Click the story to see the recipients.

The District has compiled a map of WiFi hotspots available for use by students in and around the District during the COVID-19 school closure. The hotspots listed are provided by a mix of BCISD, local businesses, a partnership between Marble Falls ISD and Llano ISD, and other local organizations. Click this story for more information.
