Jessica McMullen, principal of RJ Richey Elementary and Dr. Doug Marvin, Principal of Quest High School are among the 85 school leaders from across Texas selected as the 2022 cohort of educators to attend summer institutes at the Principals’ Center at the Harvard Graduate School of Education sponsored by the Charles Butt Foundation, a non-profit pursuing a more equitable and prosperous future for all Texans through education and community partnerships.

The last day of school will be Wednesday, May 25. Students will be dismissed 3-hours early.

At the Scholarship and Awards Ceremony held at Burnet High School, The Hill Country Community Foundation awarded $388,864 in scholarships to 137 students. That is on top of what the Burnet Community provided in scholarships, which is more than $200,000.

Burnet High School is proud to announce that they are the home of 5 STATE Championships!

At Monday's meeting, the Board presented 75 certificates of recognition to BHS students that had competed at the State level or received State level recognition.

Congratulations to the BHS students that earned all A's all year long! They were recognized by the Burnet Chamber of Commerce at the annual Breakfast of Champions awards ceremony.
