Bertram Elementary is partnering with the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension every Friday in October to bring a unique learning opportunity to the students.

Please join the BCISD Dyslexia Team for a movie and popcorn on Monday, October 21st. Guests will learn about the myths, stigmas, and truths about dyslexia.

Each day in AP (Advanced Placement) Computer Science, the students work through their Purdue University curriculum to prepare for their AP exam at the end of the year.

The Burnet Cross Country teams competed at the District meet last Friday in a cold rain in Lampasas. BHS is proud to announce that Hudson Bennett is the Varsity Boys District Champion! BHS hasn't had a District Champion in CC since 2014! Rose Flores also had an outstanding meet finishing 6th in the Varsity Girls division and earning a trip to the Regional Meet in Corpus along with Hudson.

Students from all three elementary campuses gathered this week to learn about fire safety and what to do in emergency situations.

This month's character building topic for the Bulldog Bros was respect. Former graduate Simon Hairston led the discussion and BHS Seniors Travis Gilmore and Griffen Parker mentored the boys in regards to what respect looks like from their perspective.

The Bertram Elementary PTO has started something new this year by providing snacks for teachers at the end of each six week period. The snack cart is complete with treats and drinks for the faculty to enjoy.
