Ready or not, it won't be long until it is time to think about the new school year.

The District will be implementing the CarRider Pro system for dismissal at Bertram Elementary and RJ Richey Elementary at the beginning of this school year. Shady Grove Elementary will be implementing the system later in the school year, since drive improvements are being made at Shady Grove Elementary. Click the story to find out more information.

Burnet CISD Board Trustee Earl Foster has earned the designation of Master Trustee upon completion of Leadership TASB, a program sponsored by the Texas Association of School Boards.

Burnet CISD is proud to welcome Jeremy LeJeune as the principal of Burnet Middle School. LeJeune comes to Burnet CISD from Pflugerville ISD, where he served as principal of Dessau Middle School the past 4 years.

The Burnet CISD Board of Trustees and Administration are proud to announce as part of the 2019-2020 compensation plan a 7% midpoint general pay increase for teachers and librarians and a 5% midpoint general pay increase for all other staff.

The Board approved the hiring of Nick Stephenson as the Head Band Director for Burnet High School at the June 17th regular Board meeting.

The Bulldog Bros and Diva Dawgs voted the Women's Storybook Project as their philanthropic effort for the 2018-2019 school year. Their dedication to the project came to fruition when they presented a $1,200 check to the organization recently.
