Gems of Appreciation

At mid-year, Amalia took on a new position as the dyslexia teacher at SGE. Not only did she welcome the opportunity to learn a new position, but she has done a beautiful job of keeping the dyslexia program running smoothly for our students.

Coach Reid provides the children of Bertram Elementary with an exceptional physical education experience and is an all-around team player.

Mr. Nejtek has been the epitome of flexibility this year and has willingly stepped in wherever he is needed on any particular day. He teaches PE classes as well as serves as an inclusion teacher on campus, switching back and forth with these roles on a daily basis.

Cam has been a great support to Bertram Elementary! We can count on him to
come by several times a week to check on our technology needs. He addresses
concerns quickly.

Mrs. Headrick is always willing to go the extra mile and help in any way that is needed. Kim wears many hats on our small campus from supporting student behavior to food service. Mrs. Headrick builds relationships with all of our stakeholders.

Victoria is RJ's amazing librarian and activity staff member. Students love going to the library because they know that she's put time, effort, and care into planning engaging, creative, educational, and interactive lessons in the library.

As stated by someone who has worked closely with her over the past few years,
"Pamela has ALWAYS genuinely cared about not only the quality of the food that's put out but the way it is done. She cares deeply for the food service workers and shows a daily appreciation for us."

Amber Hagen is working in a new position this year as a math interventionist and puts considerable thought into developing engaging lessons that are needs-based.

Please join BHS in congratulating Timothy Hoppe for being selected as our Gem of the Month. In the short time Coach Hoppe has been at BHS, he has made a big impact with our students.

Megan teaches 3rd grade and is the team leader. Her teammates say "She is a positive, hard-working team leader always keeping us up to date and listens to our concerns."
