Gems of Appreciation

Coach Ware has gone above and beyond as a coach and teacher, especially during this difficult time. He has worked the long hours of coaching football, while continuing to be a rockstar in the classroom for his in-person and remote learners.

Kimberly Headrick is an Instructional Partner at QHS. She is positive and supportive of students and is always willing to help where needed.

Ms. Lowe teaches 3rd Grade at Bertram Elementary. She is a rock star leader for her team and for her students. Her positive attitude shines even when the work gets hard.

Lori is a Kindergarten Teacher at SGE and is someone who has a true heart for her profession. Her positive and helpful approach each day she is here shows her love for our students, their families and our Shady Grove family too.

Mrs. Reardon is an ESL Instructional Partner at our campus. She goes above and beyond with all of her students. Her force of positivity and kindness radiates the halls and brings joy during these tough times.

Pam is the monitor for Bus 101, but also does much more. Pam has an amazing attitude towards everything and everyone.

BHS Cafeteria Manager Joann Chapa was nominated for the October Gem of Appreciation. However, when presented with the gem, she asked that the gem go to her staff as well.

Scott is always one step ahead when Facilities and Operations has a project that needs to be completed.

Jill is the Accounting Coordinator for BCISD and she is an incredible example of a team player. The helpful attitude she displays while doing her job with
excellence is contagious.

Teresa Mather is the Instructional Coach at SGE. She is someone who epitomizes servanthood leadership. She is patient, collaborative, proactive and a true lifelong learner.
