Gems of Appreciation

RJ is super excited to recognize our Focus team composed of Ms. Kaila Rogers, Ms. Kristina Bailey, and Ms. Kerri Samuels collectively as our RJ GEM for November!

Burnet Middle is proud to announce Coach Cory Kuhn as our November GEM. Cory is a graduate of Burnet High School and was hired this year as our new boys' athletic coordinator. When we presented Cory with his award during pre-athletics, several of our 6th graders made a point to come and tell me how much Coach Kuhn deserved it.

Bertram Elementary is proud to announce Shayna Clark as our November Gem of Appreciation. Shayna serves as our Focus Teacher. Several of her colleagues have noticed and appreciate her dedication to both students and staff.

Burnet High School is proud to announce our Gem of the Month, Fallan Brandt. This is Fallan’s first year to teach at BHS and she is doing an amazing job in Life Skills.

Shady Grove Elementary is proud to recognize our Focus Team as our November Gems of Appreciation! Courtney Bennett, Amanda Parker, and Jill Sanchez go above and beyond to help ALL students be successful!

Victor is always there to help out, no matter what the job is. He has positive attitude and is willing to volunteer when help is needed.

Rusty Baldwin is the recipient of the Gem of Appreciation for Transportation. Rusty comes to work every day with a positive attitude and is always willing to help.

The Central Office Gem of Appreciation for October goes to Carol Morris, our Coordinator for Secondary Curriculum.

Sam is an asset to the Food Service team. Her peers describe her as reliable, a good worker, always helping others out and going above and beyond what is asked of her.

Mrs. Behrendt is an instructional coach at BHS and has been an incredible blessing to first year teachers.
