May is Jewish American Heritage Month

Yesterday, the Burnet Chamber of Commerce sponsored a "Breakfast of Champions" for Burnet High School students who maintained an "A" in all courses every six weeks during the 2022-2023 school year. The Chamber partnered with Camp Longhorn who provided the breakfast buffet. We appreciate Luedecke Photgraphy for being there to take pictures.

May is Pacific Islander Heritage Month

After Saturday’s School Board Election, the two incumbent candidates will be returning to the Burnet CISD Board of Trustees. Two Places were on the ballot before voters: Place 3 and Place 7. Trustee Mark Kincaid ran unopposed in Place 7. In Place 3, incumbent Trustee Suzanne Brown faced challenger Mike Clark. According to unofficial results from Burnet County Elections, Brown defeated Clark with 60.11 percent of the vote.

On Thursday, May 4th, we gathered to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of our staff members who have gone above and beyond to make a positive impact on our district.

Our Food Service Team works tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare and serve meals to our students. School Lunch Hero Day is a time to shine a spotlight on their important work and to show them how much we appreciate all that they do!
