School Bus Driver Appreciation Day Thank you to our bus drivers for your dedication in getting our students to and from school safely each day! Our buses travel 3,300 miles each day over the 700 square miles that make up Burnet CISD, and our bus drivers are the first ones to greet our students on each new day of learning.

Burnet High School Lighthouse Team BHS is implementing Leader in Me as part of a larger district initiative. Leader in Me will serve as an excellent vehicle to foster Spirit, Pride, and Honor at BHS. Today the Lighthouse Team was invited to join the leadership team. Please join us in celebrating these amazing educators. We are excited for the positive change their leadership will bring to our campus and students.
Making History at Burnet Middle School This past Monday history was made when the Lady Dawgs had their first EVER MS soccer game VS The Lampasas Badgers. We had 25 girls come out after Spring Break to start our MS girl program, and they are already showing so much progress these last few weeks. We lost 2-1 to the Badgers; our goal was scored by Cali Eason and assisted by Avery Barth. These girls fought hard the entire game and were down 2-0 and came back to score. We are excited to continue to watch this program grow, and the girls are working hard everyday!
BHS Highlandette 2023 Spring Show BHS Highlandette 2023 Spring Show will take place April 27-29 at the BHS Auditorium at 7pm.
Pre-K and Kindergarten Round-Up BCISD is proud to offer a full-day Pre-Kindergarten program for qualifying students. Registration is April 10-28.
