Shady Grove Students Celebrating the Fun in Reading The Highland Lakes Quilt Guild is helping SGE promote and celebrate the fun in reading! The group, consisting of several retired teachers, takes part in a "Learning with Quilts" program. The quilters select children's literature and then create quilts to pair with the books. They share their books and quilts with us on campus. Librarian Tyler and our students enjoy sharing the stories and quilts during story time!
2023-2024 School Year Calendar Approved The Board of Trustees approved the 2023-2024 School Year Calendar at Monday's Board Meeting. The development of the calendar was informed by stakeholder input, and the final version attempts to balance the needs of teachers with the needs of families to plan ahead for non-student days.
