Out of this World! As you might know, January is School Board Recognition Month. This year's theme is "Launching the Next Generation". Monday's Board Meeting was a great time to let the Board know that they truly are "Out of This World!"
Artists Recognized by Burnet County Commissioners Court Over 60 artists from Kindergarten through 12th grade were recognized for their artwork during the Commissioners Court meeting recently.
School Board Filing Information The Burnet CISD School Board Trustee Election will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020. Two places will be on the ballot this year: Place 3 – currently held by Suzanne Brown, and Place 7 – currently held by Mark Kincaid. These are three-year terms.
Additional Yearbooks Are Ready for Viewing The Hill Country Community Foundation is proud to provide access to the history of Bertram High School and Burnet High School by digitizing the yearbooks of both high schools. Today, the Foundation is announcing the release of yearbooks from 1947 - 1951 for Bertram High School and the yearbooks from 1942-1951 for Burnet High School.
