On Monday, November 28, the BCISD Transportation Department participated in a fire extinguisher use training event in cooperation with the Burnet Fire Department.  Participants were instructed in the proper visual inspection and use of the fire extinguishers that are utilized in the BCISD bus fleet.

This year at Bertram Elementary, they have focused on making impactful community connections. For December, Bertram students created a Storybook Forest that was displayed at the Bertram Country Christmas event on December 3rd.

Fraction practice, letter recognition and participating in the UIL meet were just a few things happening at Shady Grove last week.

Last Wednesday, RJ Richey Bulldogs were UIL ready to compete and represent with their Spirit, Pride and Honor. Way go to Bulldogs!

On Tuesday, November 15th, 72 Burnet High School students were honored and recognized at the Spirit, Pride, Honor Awards Breakfast. Each BHS teacher nominated a student that has been seen demonstrating Spirit, Pride, and Honor in some way.

We are seeking nominations for the 2023 Burnet CISD Hall of Honor. Winners will be selected and recognized at the Burnet Chamber of Commerce Banquet on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

Everyday at Burnet High School, students from the FOCUS program raise the flags, and students from the Life Skills class take the flags down at the end of the day.

BHS Athletes Asah Roy, Victor Aviles (22nd Place), and Hudson Bennett (3rd Place) were recognized at the November Board Meeting.
