An early Appreciation to recognize our Bus Drivers who go above and beyond to make sure our students are transported safely every day!

The 2023 group of honorees were inducted to the BCISD Hall of Honor at the Burnet Chamber of Commerce Banquet this past Saturday night. Superintendent Keith McBurnett introduced each of the honorees as the BCISD Board of Trustees presented the awards.

Thank you to the men and women that serve as School Resource Officers in Burnet CISD. We are safer as a school district because of your commitment to the staff and students of Burnet CISD!

Please join us in welcoming Donald Haynes to Burnet CISD as the new Director of Transportation. Donald comes to BCISD with over 27 years of Student Transportation experience. He is currently getting settled in and learning about the vast area that BCISD encompasses, and we are excited to have his experience and knowledge to lead the Transportation Department.

Congratulations to Hudson Bennett for being selected as the Burnet Chamber Youth of the Year! Youth of the Year Nominees included:

National School Counseling Week 2023: “School Counselors: Helping Students Dream Big.” We want to say “Thank You!” to the Burnet CISD counselors and the unique role they play within our schools. Our counselors help students dream big, and we are thankful for their tireless efforts.

R.J. recently celebrated every Bulldog’s progress, growth, and achievements for the first semester of the 22-23 school year with a Growth Parade.

Today Bertram Elementary welcomed Meteorologist Carlo Falco with Fox 7 News. Mr. Falco presented to 4th and 5th Grade students about the science of weather. Mr. Falco also shared his journey to becoming a Meteorologist and the important role of Math and Science in his work. Students had an opportunity to "Ask the Expert" questions that they had encountered in their study of weather and the water cycle.
