At the January 16th Board Meeting, our Bertram Elementary Students led the pledges to the flags.

Each year, on the third Monday in January, the MLK Day of Service is observed in Burnet CISD as a "day on, not a day off." On January 16, students in Burnet CISD will learn about the contributions of Martin Luther King, Jr. and each campus will be participating in service projects. We look forward to sharing details about our service projects with you on January 16!

Former longtime Burnet CISD teacher and administrator Shelley Reavis recently shared with the District a copy of the Burnet High School Football History 1898-1994 that she found among her mom's possessions. Click the story link to find a link to a PDF of the booklet.

Thanks to Johnson Sewell Ford in Marble Falls, Claycomb Associates, Satterfield & Pontikes Construction and R Bank in Bertram, 6 employees were each awarded $100 for perfect attendance for the month of December.

Our 2nd grade UIL participants and medalists were recognized at an award ceremony! Second grade is the first year that students are eligible to participate in UIL events, and hats off to our SGE students who had the interest, courage, and commitment to participate in this year's UIL events! Our students traveled to Lampasas for a district UIL Meet, and our students made us proud!
