BMS Band Members Shine at All-Region Band Auditions On Saturday, November 10th, Burnet Middle School band members received the payoff for all of their hard work by auditioning for the ATSSB All-Region Band which represents the best of Central Texas and the Hill Country.

Fun For All For the past several years, Quest High School students have joined in on the fall festival activities at Shady Grove Elementary. The older students help with carnival games, face painting, and handing out treats to the excited first graders.
Esprit de Corps Shines at State Marching Contest At the beginning of marching season, there were 165 4A bands vying for a spot at the UIL State Marching Contest. After long hours of practices and contests, the BHS Esprit de Corps finished their journey by placing 18th out of those 165 bands.
Spirit, Pride, and Honor Leaders Mentor Freshmen At the recent BHS Spirit, Pride, and Honor meeting, 250 freshmen divided into small groups in the cafeteria. The SPH Senior leaders played confidence building games and talked to the freshmen about how to make the most of their high school experience.

The Dangers of Drugs Emergency department nurse, Linda Dutil from Waterville, Maine, came to talk to BHS students recently about the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco and to help them understand the consequences of poor choices.
