Burnet High School senior, Ian Carter, is headed back to Austin to compete in the UIL State Track Meet in the 110m Hurdles. He will compete Saturday, May 12th at 12:45pm.

It is the last month of the 2017-2018 school year and the calendar is packed with activities for you to enjoy!

Registration will take place Wednesday, May 16th, from 5 - 7 p.m. at the BCISD Central Office

The Burnet FFA Forage Team competed at the State contest held at Sam Houston State University and was crowned State Champions.

The Burnet FFA Range Team competed at the State contest held at Tarleton State University. The team placed 4th out of 50 teams qualifying them for the National Contest to be held in Oklahoma City.

The dates for the Bulldog Summer Camps have been released!

Bulldog Club is a BCISD sponsored after school program developed in the event the ACE After School Program isn’t grant funded in 2018-2019.

50 teams of 5 students from high schools all over Texas have been practicing the Art of BBQ in their communities and school to see which school will be the 2018 State of Texas High School BBQ Grand Champion

Saturday, April 28, Lakes Area Health Mart and the Burnet County Sheriff's Office are recognizing the DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day by offering their facilities as drop-off locations. Citizens may bring in their old medications to either location to ensure they are properly and safely disposed.

Burnet CISD Elementary Schools are collecting books to send home with students for summer reading. All elementary campuses will collect books until May 18. Please drop off donations at the front office.
