Congratulations to BCISD's outstanding Campus Educators of the Year who were recognized at the Burnet Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet.

Burnet High School Seniors Ryan Behrens, Madelynne Jones, and Jaxon Gonzales were recognized at Saturday's Chamber Banquet as nominees for Youth of the Year.

The ninth group of honorees were inducted to the BCISD Hall of Honor at the Burnet Chamber of Commerce Banquet this past Saturday night. Superintendent Keith McBurnett introduced each of the honorees as the BCISD Board of Trustees presented the awards.

On this Groundhog Day, Pawnee the Donkey visited Bertram Elementary. Pawnee chose to eat oats over sweet oats, which represents a prediction of an early spring!

The filing period for two vacancies on the Education Service Center Region 13 Board of Directors is February 1 through February 20.

The Board of Trustees officially broke ground on the Burnet CISD Student Activity Center on Tuesday. The Student Activity Center will house a weight room, locker rooms for baseball and girls’ soccer, and a practice facility designed to support athletic teams, band, drill team, and cheer.

Students across Burnet CISD participated in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on Monday, January 17th. Students learned about Mr. King, and how he served others and worked to make the world a better place.

The Burnet CISD School Board Trustee Election will be held on Saturday, May 7,
2022. There are two places on the ballot: Place 1 – currently held by Earl Foster
and Place 5 – currently held by Andy Feild.

The BCISD Board members were celebrated during Monday's meeting in honor of School Board Recognition Month.
