We ask that anytime a student, staff member, or visitor to campus learns of their positive COVID-19 test result or needs to quarantine after close contact with COVID-19, they complete the self-reporting form for their campus. Form responses will be routed only to the relevant campus office. This form is open 24/7 so that we can be as efficient as possible with follow-up actions.

On October 5th, Bertram Elementary partnered with the Bertram Police Department to host National Night Out. Families were invited to enjoy an evening of free fun including science experiments, emergency vehicle demonstrations, a bounce house, and grilled hot dogs.

Hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation programs are part of the elective curriculum in Burnet CISD and other local districts. The Highlander Newspaper recently featured these programs in a special supplement to their weekly publication.

World Teachers' Day is celebrated on October 5th to commemorate teachers across the globe. It is an annual initiative to recognize each teacher's daily contributions and tireless efforts.

Recently, during the week of homecoming, Burnet Middle School students created mums for both themselves and others to wear. This engaging project contributed to the spirit, pride, and honor exhibited during this week.

Monday, November 1st, has been set aside as a planning day for BCISD teachers. Students will return to classes on Tuesday, November 2nd.

In recognition of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, representatives of Valley Lodge #175 presented a U.S. and Texas flag to each of the BCISD Campus Principals at Monday's Board meeting.
